The Global scenario of Legal education has witnessed a significant change in approach and a remarkable growth. Legal education in India too, has readily adapted to the global demands and every institution has geared up to meet the global challenges by harnessing the latest technologies in the field of legal education.  The move towards interdisciplinary studies, research based and interactive learning with technology integration have opened up several options as well as created multiple challenges.

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law has always endeavoured to attain excellence. Every batch of students witnessed the similar zeal. Even though this year has made us witness extraordinary times, yet during these challenging times, the RGNUL fraternity kept it’s pace of performance, achievements and protecting the academic interests of the students. The University in continuation of it’s tradition to promote research, initiated new journals, book series for Commercial Laws and also enrolled students for Post Doctoral and Doctoral Research Degrees. To meet the online educational needs, the University went a step ahead and the databases of the library were enriched to extend remote access of knowledge for all our students throughout the country. Even during this pandemic our students have performed well in all fields of the profession and are the torch bearers of distinction in their respective fields of specialisation. They opted for online internships, participated in online webinars and courses and undertook research projects and publications. Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law provides a fully functional ICT connected campus with the state of art infrastructure, which provides all platforms of broadening of academic horizon.

The curriculum is revised and upgraded regularly to include emerging challenges and contemporary issues within the syllabi. The students are encouraged to participate in every activity and are prepared for every competition. We, at RGNUL, will strive to extend the same congenial environment of excellence that we have provided on campus and also to the concept of online education as well.

I am sure that students of RGNUL, Punjab will strive to accomplish greater heights and opportunities in life. I wish them the best of luck.
