Ques. What is the difference between Ph.D. in International Studies and Ph.D. in International Relations?

Ans. Below are the differences between both of them:

Interactions vs Understanding - The main distinction between international studies and international relations is that international relations focus on specific interactions between countries, whether two or more. The field examines how those connections occurred, the politics that underpin them, and the economic consequences, before attempting to comprehend all sides of a problem.

International studies, on the other hand, isn't solely concerned with technicalities. It instead takes a broad view of mankind and society. Events in the field of international relations have an impact on the field of international studies, but persons in these positions are looking at the big picture rather than analyzing each ripple.

Someone working in international relations, for example, would collaborate with several government agencies to construct common internet infrastructure and develop legislation to support it. Someone specializing in international studies, on the other hand, would investigate how increasing internet access in one of these regions affects the region's educational quality.
