Vision

Maharaja BirBikram University is a public institution dedicated to serving the people of Tripura in particular and the people of the entire Northeast India in general. The University is working towards realization of the dream of Maharaja Bir Bikram Manikya Bahadur to make it an ‘Abode of Learning’. To fulfill this vision, along with newly emerged challenges in the society, the University also envisions

• To promote world citizenry, disseminate and advance knowledge in interdisciplinary studies and research, developing critical thoughts and creativity.

• To preserve and promote multicultural heritages of India by respecting rights and dignities of all.

• To give special emphasis on the pursuit of inclusive achievement and academic excellence with a motto of becoming “good human being”. 

Mission

Established in 2016, MBB University is a new higher educational institution. It wishes to grow further as a responsible learning community. The University inspires the student community and other individuals to explore widely, think critically, communicate clearly, and connect ideas creatively to address our most challenging needs, problems and questions in diverse field of studies. Being the highest and noblest seat of learning, the mission of the University is the preservation, advancement, and dissemination of knowledge by providing effective leadership in guiding and promoting educational opportunities and research works in various fields. Lastly, the University endeavours to channelize its mission for academic and administrative commitment for promoting communal harmony, saving environmental stakes and exploring opportunities for the marginalized section of society.
