Vice Chancellor Message

• A University is the apex epitome of teaching, learning and evaluation which together shapes the life and career of a large chunk of youth of the society in the context of higher education. The academia of a University not only paves the avenue for students to have the pursuit of education, research, scholarship and other phenomenon but also gives wings to explore the new horizons of imagination. Since its founding in 2016, the Maharaja Bir Bikram University is committed to the cause of dissemination of knowledge to every section of the society with an emphasis on rural and marginalised section of society. The MBB University set its motto of ideas, imagination and innovations since its inception. The University envisages developing the institution into a digitally sound knowledge hub by upgrading curriculum, quality of teaching-learning, infrastructure, introducing inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research, extension/exchange programmes and developing innovative skills, using local and indigenous resources, Industry-University linkages for entrepreneurship so as to generate as well as enhance employability prospects for the students.      

• We, at the MBB University, continuously aspire to be a breeding ground for positive ideas and emerge as a symbol of openness of thoughts, cultural pluralism and celebrating the unity in the diversity of India. We make an effort to touch the lives of every student by inculcating prudence, efficiency, creativity, innovation, research and compassion to work for the betterment of the marginalised section of the society. We attempt to kindle their sense of responsibility, honesty, conscience, justice and above all commitment to human values. It has a visionary approach to transform the existing system of the University into a global magnitude of sheer excellence in teaching, research and innovation within the paradigm of Indian value system.

• We intent to expand our reach to the inaccessible regions through virtual presence and become a centre of knowledge osmosis. We seek to empower every inquisitive soul with the best available resources. We intent to intensify our endeavours to mobilise more resources and create conducive ambience for our faculty, students and staff to actualise their potentials.

• Students form the core of our existence as an institution, and we want to inculcate professionalism among our students to give wings to their dreams. We expect to be world citizens in a globalised era. We aim to pursue a multi-stakeholder consultation approach, in which students, teachers and staff as well as alumni, former faculty members and other stake-holders including the media play a meaningful role. We undertake a mammoth task of employing higher education as a means of attaining peace and development for all. I pay our tribute to those who had been associated with the University and seek to meet their expectations to take the University to greater heights.

• I as a Vice-Chancellor of MBB University request everyone to join us in fostering a healthy, peaceful and engrossing atmosphere at the University campus, colleges and affiliated institutions. I invite you to contribute actively and enrich the University with your intellectual resources, rich experiences and fruitful suggestions.
