The College of Veterinary Sciences, originally located in Lahore, was relocated to Hisar in 1948. In 1971, it was integrated into Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University. The expansive 1125-acre campus, developed at a cost of INR 629 crore, involved a two-phase construction.
