Vice Chancellor Message

I am deeply honoured and humbled to have been appointed as the President of Singhania University. With a background deeply rooted in public service, I have had the privilege of serving as the former Secretary cum Commissioner of Labour and Secretary of the General Administration Department. Additionally, I bring with me the experience of having served as the ex-CMD of Delhi Transport Corporation. These roles have equipped me with a wealth of experience and knowledge which I am eager to leverage for the betterment of this esteemed institution.

As I step into this new role, I am committed to upholding the core values of excellence, integrity, and innovation in higher education. These values will serve as guiding principles in our journey towards academic and research excellence. I firmly believe that education is not merely about imparting knowledge, but also about nurturing individuals who are equipped to navigate the complexities of the world with wisdom and integrity.

One of my primary goals as President is to foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within the university community. I recognize that the true strength of any institution lies in its people - the faculty, staff, and students who collectively shape its identity and contribute to its success. It is through our collective efforts that we can create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment where every voice is heard and every individual is valued.

I am particularly excited about the prospect of working closely with the faculty, whose expertise and dedication form the backbone of our academic programs. Together, we will explore new avenues for research and innovation, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and driving positive change in our respective fields.

Equally important is our commitment to the holistic development of our students. Beyond academic excellence, we aim to nurture the intellectual curiosity, critical thinking skills, and ethical values that are essential for success in today's rapidly evolving world. By providing a supportive and enriching educational experience, we will empower our students to become lifelong learners and responsible global citizens.

I am confident that with our collective efforts, we will not only uphold Singhania University's reputation for academic excellence but also strengthen it further.
