• Bodoland University is torch bearer in higher education for equity and empowerment of people of all castes, creed and religion in BTAD. The University foster scientific spirit through value based quality education to mould youths the pillar of tomorrow with supreme knowledge and skill for advancing BTAD to a welfare society. The University shall engage in need based Research & Development activities which integrate indigenous knowledge and rich socio-cultural heritage with emerging modern scientific technology for socio-economic betterment of the community at large and people of BTAD in particular. To excel in research and teaching the University shall strictly adhere to ethics of research, publish research findings in peer reviewed high impact factor scholarly journals and follow pedagogy of teaching blended with class room teaching, tutorial, assignments and field works. The University curriculum encompasses lessons, theory and practices to make passing out students employable and compete with their peers in all walks of life. The University incubation center shall facilitate startups in technology and entrepreneur by students and faculty. It is also the endeavor of the University to provide international exposure to students and faculty through exchange and collaborative teaching and research programmes with foreign universities by signing memorandum of agreement. The University shall adopt and follow a tangible academic calendar. To trickle down the benefit of higher education to the community the University shall reach out to the people by disseminating pertinent knowledge for enhancing daily life, living standard and improving health of young and old. The University shall play pivotal role in making BTAD an academic hub of the region in imparting quality education at par with other universities and institutions in the country. The University shall attract foreign students particularly from SAARC countries for higher studies and research considering strategic location of the University in the vicinity of neighboring countries.

• Governance of the University is based on the principles of transparency and strict compliance to the statute, the ordinance and the Bodoland University Act. The University shall provide a good ambience for employees of all ranks and files with strict compliance to decorum of a university. Ramification of imparting higher education and the intensive role of the University in human resource development in BTAD shall be notice in the not too distant years ahead. The University has shown the seed of higher education and the support of people from all walks of life, community, men and women and stake holders is crucial for striving progress.
