Bhagwant Global University (BGU) Kotdwar is established and incorporated by Government of Uttarakhand (Act No. 39 of 2016) Vide Notification No. 344/ XXXVI (3)/2016/71(1)/2016) of Uttarakhand Shashan (Vidhayee & Sansdiya Karya Vibhag) and under Section 2(f) of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Act, 1956 with powers to confer degrees u/s 22 (1).

University is located in Kotdwar, a city under Municipal Corporation of Pauri Garhwal, It is just 101 km from Pauri Town, Located in the vicinity of well- known and holy Siddhbali Temple which is situated 2 km (1.2 mi) from Kotdwar city. Siddhbali Temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman and is visited by Thousands of believers all around the year.

The objective of our University to provide education, research and training to aspiring youth of Uttarakhand and the country with a mission to prepare growth ambassadors.

A Unique University around lush green campus of 05- acres with its beautifully designed architecture stands out as an infrastructure. The campus is strategically located near the Kanvashram. The University through its 08 schools is offering various multi-disciplinary programmes in varied streams of Pharmacy, Management, Para Medical, Computer Applications, Diploma in Engineering, Applied Sciences, Humanities and Nursing.
