Welcome to Assam Rajiv Gandhi University of Cooperative Management, a public (State) university established in 2010. The university has been mandated to attain excellence in providing quality higher education, training and undertake cutting edge research in the broad areas of cooperative management, business management, trade & commerce, law, public policy, technology & innovation and entrepreneurship. Our university aims to be a hub for new generation professional, socially connected and employment-oriented education. Use of ICT in teaching learning process has always been emphasized in the university. The university is equipped with modern classrooms and sophisticated computer lab. The university is currently offering master’s and Ph.D programs with well qualified faculty members and resource persons from the industry. We emphasize on improvised students experience in terms of communication skills and personality development, live projects, field visits, internships, and students’ club events. Apart from academic programs, ARGUCOM is contributing towards training and capacity building of cooperators, self-help groups and budding entrepreneurs in various identified thematic areas. We are planning to start technology embedded programs like MBA(Executive) for facilitating continued and lifelong learning for the experienced executives, professionals and entrepreneurs. Another industry collaborated program, MBA (Financial Market) will be launched soon aiming on employment creation. Host of other skill based and applied academic programs are in pipeline. The university is currently in the mid of transformation with a focus on expanding towards a university of multidisciplinary studies and research in the line of National Educational Policy 2020 and creation of state-of-the-art infrastructure. Though currently small, our dedicated faculty team and high-quality academic programs position the university as unique one.
