M.Pharma. in Pharmaceutics is a 2-year postgraduate degree program developed for pharmacy graduates looking to expand their knowledge of drug formulation, development, and delivery methods. The curriculum includes topics including pharmaceutical technology, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, medication stability, and quality control. This curriculum trains graduates to work in pharmaceutical research and development, drug manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs. Graduates get career opportunities to work in pharmaceutical businesses, or research institutions, or pursue advanced academic studies such as a Ph.D. The course provides students with the ability to innovate in medication delivery techniques and contribute to advances in pharmaceutical science.

B.Pharma. Lateral Entry is a program that allows diploma holders in pharmacy to directly enter the 2nd year of a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma.) degree. This pathway typically reduces the overall duration of the B.Pharma. program from 3-4 years for eligible candidates. Lateral entry students join regular B.Pharma. students in their 2nd year and complete the remaining 3 years of the course. The curriculum covers advanced pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, medicinal chemistry, and practical training. Admission is usually based on merit in the diploma program or through entrance exams conducted by universities or pharmacy councils.
