A 4-year postgraduate medical degree called an M.D. in Dermatology prepares doctors to specialize in the diagnosis and management of conditions affecting the skin, hair, and nails. Dermatopathology, pediatric dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, and dermatologic surgery are among the subjects covered in the program. To obtain practical experience, students finish clinical rotations in both surgical and medical dermatology. Graduates of this program are eligible to work as board-certified dermatologists in private practices, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, offering patients with a variety of dermatological problems comprehensive care.
