Welcome to the Assam Women's University, Jorhat an initiative dedicated to empower the women of Assam and entire North East. The University not only aims to achieve academic excellence but also to make them ready to be independent economically and empowering socially. In last few years, the university has embraced multifarious activities right from curricular and extra-curricular activities to generating awareness in the society about women centric programs and to benefit from them. I am sure that in the coming years, the university shall record newer milestones and achievements in terms of preparing the women force of the state and the country in self as well as nation building activities.
