B.E. in Electrical Engineering - Lateral Entry is a 3-year undergraduate program designed for students who have completed a diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field. This course allows students to directly enter the second year of the B.E. program, bypassing the first year of general engineering studies. The program covers a wide range of topics, including electrical circuits, power systems, control systems, electronics, signal processing, and renewable energy. Students gain practical knowledge through hands-on training, laboratory work, and projects, with an emphasis on developing problem-solving skills in electrical systems and technologies. Upon completion, graduates can work in industries such as power generation, electronics, automation, telecommunications, and research and development, or pursue higher studies in electrical engineering or related disciplines.
