Cluster University of Jammu: About Us

The Cluster University of Jammu, established in 2016 under the Srinagar and Jammu Cluster Universities Act, 2016, was inaugurated on April 17, 2017, by Prakash Javadekar, the then Minister of HRD, Government of India. Prof. Anju Bhasin became the first vice chancellor on March 1, 2017. Offering a diverse academic experience, the university commenced its first session (2017–2018) with 10 undergraduate, 8 postgraduate, and 8 integrated courses. Presently, it provides 12 undergraduate, 8 postgraduate, and 12 integrated courses in humanities, sciences, and commerce. The university comprises five schools and five constituent colleges, fostering a comprehensive educational structure.
